Add a 2FA code

DroidPass has a built-in authenticator. It generates the same six-digit codes as Google Authenticator or Authy, in the same vault as your logins.

Why this matters

No more switching apps to sign in β€” your one-time codes live right next to the login they belong to, encrypted with everything else. Your first one is free.

Steps

  1. Open the side menu and tap Authenticator.
  2. Tap Add Authenticator.
  3. Scan the QR code the site shows, or type the setup key by hand.
  4. Give it a name you will recognise, then save.

If it does not work

  • This isn't a valid 2FA secret. It can only contain letters A to Z and the digits 2 to 7.
  • Camera access is needed to scan QR codes. Enable it in Settings, or enter the key manually.

Good to know

  • The + button on the vault does not offer Authenticator β€” add codes from the Authenticator screen.
  • The free plan allows one authenticator. Pro removes the limit.
  • Codes are generated on your device from the stored secret, so they work offline.
