Forgot your password

Your account password only signs you in. If you have lost it, DroidPass emails you a link to choose a new one, and nothing in your vault changes.

Why this matters

Resetting the account password is safe. It signs you in but encrypts nothing, so your entries stay exactly as they were, still protected by your Master PIN.

Steps

  1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password?.
  2. Please enter your registered email.
  3. Tap RESET PASSWORD.
  4. Open the email and follow the link to choose a new password.
  5. Come back to DroidPass and sign in with the new password.

What happens next

We sent a password reset link to your email address

Once you are signed in, you unlock the vault with your Master PIN as before. A new password does not change it.

If it does not work

  • No email after a few minutes? Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure you typed the address you signed up with.
  • If you signed up with Apple or Google, there is no DroidPass password to reset. Use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google instead.

Good to know

  • This resets the password you sign in with, not the Master PIN. If it is the PIN you have forgotten, see Forgot your Master PIN.
  • If you still know your password and only want a new one, change it from Settings instead.
